WELCOME
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and in my most recent inspection I was awarded a 'Good' grade in July 2023.
I can care for children from little babies to 11 year olds. I can offer termtime only, all year round and school holiday care.
Everything I do here in my setting, is in line with the current Early Years Foundation(EYFS) framework set by OFSTED. I ensure I maintain high standards in all aspects of the 3 Prime areas (Personal and social, Physical and Communication) and 4 Specific areas (Literacy, Maths, Understanding the world and Creative)
Everyday I plan activities centered around the children. We go to playgroups, singing time at the library and parks every day. At home I have structured and unstructured play to stimulate the children and to make sure they have a fun day whilst reaching their full potential.
I work on an online system called Babydays, here I record daily diaries, upload photos and videos and document your child’s progress for you to access.
My name is Liz, I'm a Married Mum of Three Wonderful Children aged 23, 18 and 15. I also have a little friendly dog.
I have been childminding for 15 years and live on a new housing estate off Calverton Road.
My ethos to childcare is to be flexible, fun, professional and approachable. This way children and parents working with me feel at ease and are happy.
I provide fun activities allowing children to develop in all areas of learning. I endorse positive discipline as a more effective way of setting boundaries for children and I am very consistent so the children know and feel secure in the boundaries that I set.
